St Barth Commuter uses piston multi engine aircraft (BN2A and BN2 B islander) and PA 23-250 (Piper Aztec) of which the use in fact with piloting as a mono pilot primarily.

The pilots take up duties of captain and must be holders of qualifications and formations of which :

1. CPL – IR
2. 500 Hours of flight minimum
3. RATING MEP IFR
4. Training course on ICSS (security and emergency procedures)
5. 3 Check for year
6. Training course on Crew Ressource Management (CRM)
7. Training course on Dangerous Goods

In the same way, the captains are rigorously trained for the landing in St Barth, Airport of restricted use, for which a field qualification is mandatory.
