1. Check in
Passengers must have the flight coupon(s) valid for the destination ready when check in.For executive charter flights, passengers can check at their discretion until 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
2. Baggage allowance
St Barth Commuter allows a maximum forfeit of 210 kg (463 pounds) for all the passengers of the charter flight.3. In the cabin
For comfort and safety, restrict yourself to only one carry on bag.Do not carry dangerous articles (arms, knives, scissors,…). They will be withdrawn at the security check and the carrier shall not be liable for loss or damage.
The following items should not be included in the checked baggage: medicine, money, negotiable papers, jewelry and other valuables, perishable and fragile items (laptops).
4. Name tag and content
It is advised to include a name tag indicating your address and telephone number inside and outside each of your checked-in suitcases.For safety and security reasons, flammable items, explosives and perishable articles are prohibited inside any checked-in luggage (see below “Prohibited Items”).
For security reasons, do not accept baggage belonging to anyone else.
5. Reservation changes
If you are travelling on a St Barth Commuter’s private charter flight, please pay attention to our travel policy below :If you want to modify your charter flight(s) :
- For any modification less than 10 days prior the day of the flight, your charter will be reported with a penalty of 100 €.
- For any modification more than 10 days prior the flight, the ticket is exchangeable with no additional fees.
If you want to cancel your charter flight(s) :
- If you cancel your flight less than 48 hours prior to departure, your ticket is non refundable (100% penalty fees).
- If you cancel your flight less than 10 days before your departure date, your flight coupon is refundable with a penalty of 50%.
- If you cancel your flight more than 10 days before your travel date, your flight coupon is refundable with a penalty of 25%.
If your St Barth Commuter flight is cancelled, you have the option of rebooking on another flight or taking a refund if you choose not to travel. However, no compensation can be offered if your flight is cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances (weather conditions, security risks).
6. Security tips

7. Documentation
Before your departure.. Make sure you have all the necessary valid documents for trip (passport, identity card, visas, vaccination certificate). If you do not have the right documents, you risk being refused entry into some countries.For executive charter flights departing/arriving from/to the United States territories, each passenger must have a US passport, a Green Card or a valid Visa.
At the termina.. Go trough immigration as early as possible so as to avoid delay. Please bear in mind that the security check carried out for your safety make take longer than expected. For more information, please contact the Frontiers Police Services by calling +590 590 51 17 03.
8. Special Service Requests (SSR)
- Unaccompagnied minors (U.M) :
A child under the age of 12 is considered as an “Unaccompanied Minors” (U.M). St Barth Commuter accepts Unaccompanied Minors only on its flights between St-Barthélemy (SBH) and Saint-Martin Grand Case (SFG). A special form must be filled in by the parents and handed over to the airline before the date of travel. - People of reduced mobility (PRM) :
Anyone who has a physical handicap and needs ground assistance between the airport terminal and the aircraft (wheelchair) must complete a request to the airline at the time of the reservation. - Animals :
St Barth Commuter accepts only domestic animals, precisely cats and dogs.
If your animal weighs less than 5 kg, it will be accepted in cabin but it must be carried in a ventilated bag that will have to remain on your lap during all the flight. If your animal weighs more than 5 kg, it must be carried in a specific cage in the luggage compartment.
Note that the maximal dimensions of the cage are: 37 x 23 x 27 inches
Notice : All your animal’s vaccines must be update and effective. You will be required to show the health record at the check-in. You must inquire about the regulations in the departure and destination countries (vaccines, quarantine…). - Sport Equipment :
We accept maximum one surfboard on your private charter flight. Please advise us the size of the surfboard when you will make the reservation.
