Passengers must have the flight coupon(s) valid for the destination ready when check in.
Please, check in before the latest check-in time stipulated on your e-ticket.
The check-in desk closes 30 minutes before the departure time of your flight.
When reporting after minimum check-in time, your seat may be forfeited.
Check-in counters opening time :
On St Barth Commuter’s flights, the check-in desk opens 1h30 prior to departure.
2. No show passengers
On our flights, a proportion of passengers holding confirmed seats do not actually use their reservation. These passengers are known as “no-shows”. If you know that you will not be able to travel on a flight on which you have a booking, please let us know early as possible so that we can then offer the seat to another passenger. One day, you may be the passenger needing a reservation on an already fully-booked flight.
3. Baggage allowance
This baggage policy is valid on the two following destinations : Saint-Martin Grand Case and Sint-Maarten Juliana.
Due to cargo hold capacity of its aircrafts, St Barth Commuter has to restrict the weight of baggage carried by our passengers. This policy will help us to offer a more reliable baggage delivery service to passengers adhering to the baggage limitations.
Checked luggage : Each passenger is allowed 20kg of baggage.
Hand luggage : Each passenger is allowed 10kg in the cabin.
Notice : The dimensions of each piece of checked baggage must not exceed 80*60*35 cm (height * length * width). Otherwise, the baggage will be refused at the check-in.
4. Baby allowance
Children under two years old and not occupying a seat are allowed a specific baggage allowance of 8kg whatever their destination.
5. In the cabin
For comfort and safety, restrict yourself to only one carry on bag.
Do not carry dangerous articles (arms, knives, scissors,…). They will be withdrawn at the security check and the carrier shall not be liable for loss or damage.
The following items should not be included in the checked baggage : medicine, money, negotiable papers, jewelry and other valuables, perishable and fragile items (laptops).
6. Name tag and content
It is advised to include a name tag indicating your address and telephone number inside and outside each of your checked-in suitcases.
For safety and security reasons, flammable items, explosives and perishable articles are prohibited inside any checked-in luggage (see below “Prohibited Items”).
For security reasons, do not accept baggage belonging to anyone else.
7. Reservation changes
If you are travelling on a St Barth Commuter’s scheduled flight, please pay attention to our travel policy below :
If you want to modify your scheduled flight(s) :
Less than 48h before your departure date, your ticket is NON MODIFIABLE.
More than 48 hours, your ticket is modifiable without extra fees.
If you want to cancel your scheduled flight(s) :
If you cancel your flight less than 48 hours prior the date of your flight or in case of no-show, your ticket is non refundable.
If you cancel your flight more than 48 hours prior the date your flight, you will be refund with a penalty of 20%.
If your St Barth Commuter flight is cancelled, you have the option of rebooking on another flight or taking a refund if you choose not to travel.
However, no compensation can be offered if your flight is cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances (weather conditions, security risks).
8. Security tips
Corrosives, Radio-Active, Explosives, substance detanantes et deflagrantes.
Before your departure.. Make sure you have all the necessary valid documents for trip (passport, identity card, visas, vaccination certificate). If you do not have the right documents, you risk being refused entry into some countries. Be careful : if you need a VISA to enter into the territory of Saint-Barthélemy, be sure you have the right document. The special note "COLLECTIVITE DE SAINT-BARTHELEMY" must appear on your VISA document. If not, you'll be refused at the check-in on your flight to St Barths.

10. Special Service Requests (SSR)
Pregnant women :
If you are pregnant, please advise the airline when you book your ticket. Under 8 months of pregnancy, you can travel without any particular formalities. After, you will need a medical clearance to fly with us on our lines.
Unaccompagnied minors (U.M) :
A child under the age of 12 is considered as an “Unaccompanied Minors” (U.M).
St Barth Commuter accepts Unaccompanied Minors only on its flights between St-Barthélemy (SBH) and Saint-Martin Grand Case (SFG).

People of Reduced Mobility (PRM) : Anyone who has a physical handicap and needs ground assistance between the airport terminal and the aircraft (wheelchair) must complete a request to the airline at the time of the reservation.
Animals : St Barth Commuter accepts only domestic animals, precisely cats and dogs.
On our scheduled flights, your animal must weigh less than 5 kg. It must be carried in a ventilated bag that will have to remain on your lap during all the flight.
Cages are forbidden because of the restricted luggage space of our aircrafts. Notice : All your animal’s vaccines must be update and effective. You will be required to show the health record at the check-in. You must inquire about the regulations in the departure and destination countries (vaccines, quarantine…).
Sports Equipments : St Barth Commuter does not accept any surf boards and diving equipments on its scheduled flights.
