Covid-19 - Health protocols to fly to/from St Barths (reminder)

The Collectivity of Saint-Barthélemy wishes to make several reminders and updates of the instructions and protocols applicable to travelers to or from the island.

1) Travelers flying from a State not belonging to the Schengen area must have a negative PCR test carried out 72 hours before their flight to enter to St Barths. This is applicable since Friday, July 10, 2020.

2) Travelers coming from France or from a State of the Schengen area, must show up a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours. A sworn statement is also required. The passenger must certify that they have no symptoms of Covid 19 infection and that they are not aware of having been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid 19 in the last 14 days.

3) No negative PCR test is required for travelers departing from Saint-Barthélemy to France or the Schengen area.

4) The health protocol requires that every traveler arriving to Saint-Barthélemy, whatever their origin, (with the exception of people from Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Sint-Maarten - “Green zone” inter-islands- who remain exempt from testing before departure, on arrival or on D + 7), performs a PCR test on D + 7 following their arrival on the island. This second test is essential to guarantee the health of your loved ones and the health security of the island.

5) Children under the age of 11 are exempt from the test requirement.

6) Finally, let's continue to respect barrier gestures and social distancing. This remains the best possible protection.
