ST BARTH COMMUTER offers two services between St Barthelemy and the two airports of Saint-Martin:

  • St Maarten, Princess Juliana Airport (SXM) - located in the Dutch side of the island.
  • St Martin, Grand Case L'Esperance Airport (SFG) - located in the French side.

Premium charter flights

If you are arriving with a commercial flight, or your private jet at Princess Juliana Airport or St-Martin Grand Case, enjoy the experience of chartering one of our Cessna Grand Caravan (C208B) that will be waiting for you to reach St Barth with flexibility. We can also organize with you a day trip to St Barths or Sint-Maarten depending where you are staying. You can get details about the quotation below.
 

Scheduled flights

Daily scheduled flights are operated between Sint Maarten Juliana/St Martin Grand Case and St Barthélemy. According to your connecting flights, you can easily choose the flight you prefer and book your tickets online (see below). Get more information about our rates below.

The flight time between the two islands is 15 minutes.

Sint Maarten Juliana international airport (SXM)

ST BARTH COMMUTER accepts only passengers in transit at Princess Juliana Airport (no SBCommuter desk in the public area). If you are already staying at Sint Maarten before your trip to St Barths, you have to fly out of St Martin Grand Case Airport located on the French side.

Passengers travelling only with carry-on luggage are not required to clear the immigration at St Maarten SXM airport.

Important information - Connecting time in Sint-Maarten Princess Juliana :

To St-Barths:
The minimum connecting time between the arrival of your international flight and the departure of your flight to St-Barth is 1H15. 
Reminder: the check-in deadline for our flights is 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

From St-Barths :
We recommend a minimum transfer time of 2 hours in Sint-Maarten for your connection to your international flight from Princess Juliana airport.

St Martin Grand-Case airport (SFG)

St Martin french side airport is the best way to come easily to St Barth (regional flight - no immigration lines).
With only a short flight of 15 minutes between the two islands, you can enjoy a day in St Barths ou St Martin by booking on one of our morning flights and going back at the end of the day.
This regional airport is also an alternative for traveling when our flights from/to Sint Maarten Juliana are fully booked. The change of airport can be done by taxi.
A taxi ride from Juliana airport to Grand-Case airport is about 30-40 minutes.

St Barth Commuter operates 6 aircraft CESSNA C208B - "Grand Caravan", manufactured between 2010 and 2022.

The Cessna Caravan is a well-proven single-engine turboprop powered by a legendary reliable 675 Horsepower Pratt & Whitney engine. Since the first entry into service in 1986, the caravan has accumulated over 11 million hours of flight time and acquired a worldwide reputation of being an exceptional performer on short strip and un-prepared runway even in marginal weather conditions.

In our commitment to safety, the extensive care that we provide to our engine has been rewarded. St Barth Commuter has been selected by the engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney to be part of its Fleet Enhancement Program (FEP). This program enables the exchange of a core engine for a new one of the same model at mid-life. Therefore our aircrafts are continuously flying with brand new engines to achieve above standard reliability, maximum fuel efficiency and minimal environmental emissions.
